WE HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY MARRIED HALF OF A YEAR! And still I can’t believe our wedding is over. I miss it everyday. I miss planning it and every exciting second leading up to the day and the feeling of being a BRIDE. I even miss the chaos, the stress and all the tears I cried over silly things. Because once I saw it all come to life on the day of, it made every tear and stressful bump worth it. There is a million words I could type about the planning process and the day of, but I am sure you’re just like me and anxious to see the P H O T O S !!!!!
I’ll warn you now, there is A LOT of photos. I couldn’t pick favorites so it’s almost all here! And… if you make it to the end theres a pretty incredible video.
Brent and I got ready at separate hotels in Downtown Los Angeles that were close to our wedding venue. Brent and his boys at the Standard DTLA and me and my girls at the NoMad Hotel . Prior to the wedding we had taken so many hotel room tours, it was such a fun part of planning! We both fell in love with the NoMad Hotel, it’s absolutely stunning and we knew immediately we wanted to spend our wedding night there! My girls and I had a slumber party the night before getting ready, it was so fun and also helped have us all together there in the morning to start the whole getting ready process. After the girls and I were done getting ready in the suite, it later tuned into the room we stayed in wedding night!
The day was SO long, as anyone in a wedding can say. We started getting ready at 8am. There was a few of us girls all doing our hair and makeup and all the picture taking was going on for hours, even though it seemed all so fast for me. Then we headed to our wedding venue, The Fig House around 2pm for Brent and I to have our ‘first look’ and have time for alllllll the tears and photos!
once we saw each other and the major cry fest was over…and a lot of the nerves calmed.
and of course, more fun photos of our bridal party and family were taken!
and before I even get to the part when we get married! Here is few little details of the celebration. We really didn’t have to do much decorating at our venue, which is why we loved The Fig House. Its beautiful and so colorful on it’s own, but we just wanted to give it some of our personality. Brent and I began our relationship at coachella, and music is something we have a big love for – so we incorporated that by instead of having table numbers, we did concert venues we have been to together and the escort tickets were concert tickets! We used our personal collection of rainbow colored vintage goblets and added bright florals and balloons…
and then, we finally got married and had the best night e v e r !
